A leading Financial Services organization is seeking a hands-on Senior Developer to work on a Front Office Rates & Credit eTrading platform.
You will be responsible for:
Designing, coding and testing enhancements to a live trading platform
ECN connectivity integration
RFQ processing and pricing logic
Straight Through Processing (STP) workflows
Performance optimisation across messaging layers
Improving latency, caching strategies, and concurrency models
Required Experience:
Strong server-side Java and/or C++
Python scripting
Messaging technologies (Solace, Kafka, Aeron, MQ)
SQL (MS SQL or Oracle)
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, UrbanCode)
Experience in Front Office trading platforms (Rates, Credit, FX or Equities)
Highly Desirable:
AWS experience (S3, SQS, SSM, KMS)
Low-latency systems design
Market connectivity & pricing engines

Senior Front Office eTrading developer with strong server-side Java/C++ expertise, specialising in low-latency Rates & Credit platforms. Proven experience building and enhancing live trading systems, including ECN connectivity, RFQ workflows, STP processing and real-time pricing engines.
Deep understanding of messaging architectures (Kafka, Solace, MQ, Aeron), performance tuning, concurrency, caching strategies and high-throughput data structures. Strong SQL skills (MS SQL/Oracle) and hands-on CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, UrbanCode).
